Delivery & Pickup Policy
Getting your kitten home should feel simple and clear.
This policy explains how pickup and delivery arrangements are confirmed, what buyers should prepare for, and what happens when timing or transport plans change.
Arranging pickup or delivery
Handover arrangements should be discussed and confirmed before the kitten is scheduled to leave Kittens Boutique.
Depending on the buyer's location and the arrangements available for a particular kitten, the handover may involve pickup or another agreed delivery arrangement.
Pickup
Where pickup has been arranged, buyers should arrive at the agreed location and time or communicate promptly if circumstances change.
Buyers should bring a secure, appropriately sized carrier for transporting the kitten unless another arrangement has been confirmed.
The person receiving the kitten may be asked to confirm information related to the purchase or reservation before handover is completed.
Delivery arrangements
Where delivery is available, the details should be agreed in advance. This includes the destination, expected timing, any applicable costs, and who will receive the kitten.
Delivery availability may depend on location, timing and the circumstances of the individual kitten.
Any transport or delivery fee should be confirmed before payment.
Accurate buyer information
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate information needed to complete the handover.
This may include:
- the buyer's full name;
- current contact information;
- the agreed pickup or delivery location;
- the name of the person receiving the kitten; and
- any other information reasonably needed to coordinate handover.
If your contact or location details change, let Kittens Boutique know before the scheduled handover.
Delays and changes
Travel and handover plans can occasionally change because of circumstances outside either party's control.
If a delay or scheduling issue arises, Kittens Boutique and the buyer should communicate as soon as possible and agree on a revised arrangement where appropriate.
Buyers should not make non-refundable travel or accommodation commitments until the handover details have been confirmed.
Receiving your kitten
Once the kitten is handed over, the buyer is responsible for keeping the kitten secure and providing appropriate care during the journey home.
Avoid unnecessary stops, temperature extremes and situations that could allow the kitten to escape from the carrier.
When you arrive home, give the kitten a quiet place to settle rather than introducing the entire home at once.
Before the big day
A smoother handover starts with a little planning.
Confirm the arrangement
Make sure the date, time, location and handover method are clear.
Have your phone available
Keep your contact number active in case timing or meeting details need to be confirmed.
Prepare safe transport
Have a secure carrier and make sure the kitten can travel comfortably and safely.
Prepare the first room
Food, water, litter and a quiet place should be ready before your kitten arrives.
Important
Delivery and pickup arrangements are not complete until they are confirmed.
Location, timing, cost and method of handover can vary. Always rely on the specific written arrangements provided for your kitten rather than general website information.
Worth the trip
One small journey. One very big homecoming.
